Live

Hippo

An app that turns the lesson a teacher already taught into flashcards and live class quizzes, so students practise remembering it — one of the best-evidenced ways to make learning stick.

What if retrieval practice started from the lesson teachers already taught?

An AI-assisted classroom loop for turning source material into reviewed practice, live questions, and formative next steps.

The useful AI tool is not the one with the biggest demo; it is the one that fits the teacher’s next Tuesday morning.

What it is

An AI-assisted flashcard, live quiz, and diagnostic practice app. Teachers turn lesson materials into reviewed retrieval practice, students practise, and teachers see what may need another pass. The loop runs: source material → reviewed cards → student practice and live quiz → formative next steps.

Why it exists

Teachers need faster ways to create quality practice without giving up judgement, context, or control.

How it works

AI drafts remain editable before use; students get simple retrieval-first practice; reports frame evidence as support signals rather than automatic mastery claims.
