Strive

An app that helps students build real-life habits — sleep, exercise, focus, kindness — alongside their classmates, so wellbeing becomes something they practise daily rather than advice they hear.

How do students learn to become the kind of person who can pursue difficult goals?

A habit and agency app designed around reflection, identity, community, and practical change.

Wellbeing cannot just be advice. It needs practice architecture: repeated actions, social context, identity, reflection, and momentum.

What it is

A habit design and agency development app for schools. Students build evidence-based wellbeing habits while teachers see pastoral patterns without turning growth into surveillance.

Why it exists

Students need practical agency, not just advice about wellbeing. Strive helps them turn intentions into visible, repeatable actions.

How it works

Behavioural science meets school community: cue, location, identity, obstacles, backup plans, peer groups, and teacher-facing pastoral visibility.

Role

Product concept, learning design, UX direction, school implementation, and ongoing pilot iteration.

An example of a student’s implementation-intention plan: the habit and its cue, why it matters to who they are becoming, and a backup plan for when life gets in the way. Research shows plans written this way dramatically increase follow-through.Product screenshot
The growth view: each habit grows like a plant as students keep showing up — momentum made visible, without rankings.Product screenshot
