Implemented & evolving

Dream-to-Reality Programme

An implemented and evolving programme that takes students from age five to fourteen through dreaming up, building, and looking after real projects that serve people and planet, documented in the D2R handbook.

How do young people move from personal dream to responsible real-world stewardship?

The Dream-to-Reality Programme (D2R) is an implemented and evolving sequence for regenerative, entrepreneurial project learning: a developmental curriculum for students to dream, build, and steward meaningful work, documented in a shareable handbook.

Project-based learning needs a spine: self, systems, craft, evidence, reflection, and contribution.

What it is

The Dream-to-Reality Programme (D2R) is an implemented and evolving sequence for regenerative, entrepreneurial project learning: a developmental curriculum for students to dream, build, and steward meaningful work, documented in a shareable handbook.

Why it exists

It was designed backwards from an answer to one question — what does the world need? Young people capable of regenerative entrepreneurship. The purpose came first; the curriculum, project processes, and assessment system were built to serve it.

How it works

Authentic work needs a genuine purpose, taught knowledge, meaningful constraints, revision, and responsibility. The programme grows with the child from five to fourteen, resolves into concrete projects, and judges specific learning from specific evidence with a criterion-referenced assessment system.

Current status

Implemented at REAL School Budapest and continuing to evolve; the handbook was released in June 2026. It documents a defined mission, two developmental processes, project rotations, banded learning targets, a criterion-referenced assessment system, and several years of local implementation — while some of its most important claims remain hypotheses awaiting better evidence.
